Teavolution story

"Making tea is the work of the body,

way of the mind,

"contents of the heart."

Peter Vilcsek - Mázsaház

Our journey began in 2014...

We personally backpacked through China, Japan, and Taiwan to meet farmers, tea varieties, and learn the ins and outs of tea growing and brewing in the cradle of Asian tea culture. For this opportunity, we turned our backs on our previous, seemingly secure, employee life and used our reserves to get started. (but really 🙂 )

Tradition & Tradition

The cultivation and consumption of the tea plant is a millennia-old tradition that continues to change to this day.

In order to always show you something valuable, we are constantly learning, observing, tasting, and traveling.

If we find something really special and coordinate with the tea maker, you will definitely find it here in our tea room or on the webshop.

Tea as we see it

Let's experience how tea can help us live a healthier and more fulfilling life in body and soul. By paying attention, we can find peace while preparing and drinking tea. Let's pay attention to our bodily sensations, which are affected by tea. We can learn to be present in the moment as a silent observer. It may be useful to remember this at another time, in difficult times.

The thousands of years of cult surrounding tea drinking proves that tea is more than just a healthy drink.

Authentic tea drinking creates an intimate connection and a common language between people. We can use it for this too! However, we caution anyone against thinking of tea drinking as the Holy Grail, the solution to all problems, troubles, and unhappiness. That is why we need to do much more. However, during the daily struggles, a cup of warm and fragrant tea, which comes from a good place, can be very good.

Get to know Asian tea culture at home

What do the terms 'gaiwan', 'oolong' or 'puer' tell us? They tell us a lot. Let us tell you too!

Each of our teas has a unique story, linked to our experiences from our travels. Through these experiences, we have learned to understand and truly enjoy the endless possibilities of Asian teas.

In a calm and open environment, we would like to share with you the experiences that led us to leave our previous lives behind and devote our attention one hundred percent to tea.

We would like you to have tea with us and move on with richer experiences, a more relaxed body, and a more alert mind! It would be a special gift for us if after this meeting you become more open to the culture of tea drinking… After all, there is life beyond the filter!
