Shu puer

Shu (ripe) puer is a post-ripened version of puer teas from Yunnan: a controlled "wo dui" process gives it its silky, round and easy-to-love character.

Its flavor is often dried fruit, cocoa-molasses, with slightly woody-earthy notes, and minimal tartness.

Forgiving tea: Works beautifully with 95–100°C water, many short gongfu infusions or the 2–3 minute Western method, and maintains its flavor over multiple rounds.

Many people enjoy drinking it after meals or in the evenings because it is gentle on the stomach and has a balanced effect. It is easy to store: it will continue to improve over time in a dry, odorless, light-protected place. In our category, you will find pressed bings, mini tuos and loose leaf teas - from creamy, chocolate-date lines to more pronounced, woody profiles.

Teavolution story

In 2013, a couple of Taiwanese oolongs brought a big smile to our faces, starting us on the journey of tea.
Since then, we have roamed the growing regions, met the producers, and made friendships and had experiences.

For us, good tea is one whose history we know,
who made it, when and where, how it was grown and processed, and we can connect to this tea, the region where it was grown, and the people.
