Darker Pastel gaiwan – earth & cherry tones, eggshell lid

A clean, yet characterful gaiwan with the soft colors of spring: the greenish-brown base of the outer glaze is deepened by subtle burgundy shades, the lid is eggshell-colored, and the interior is completely white porcelain to faithfully reproduce the color and aromas of the tea. The 145 ml (filled to the brim) capacity is ideal for intimate, multi-pour tea drinking, alone or with two.

Why do we love it?

  • Sophisticated, pastel palette: greenish-brown and burgundy tones, eggshell lid – a calm, natural atmosphere.
  • Pure taste: the completely white interior does not color or scent the tea.
  • Precise pouring: tight-fitting lid and comfortable rim for controlled pouring.

Details

  • Capacity: 145 ml (filled to the brim)
  • Material: porcelain (outer pastel glaze, interior completely white)
  • Recommended for: green, white, oolong and red (black) teas

Use & care

  • Before the first pour, rinse with hot water for a pleasant warm sensation and clean aroma.
  • After use, clean by hand with a mild detergent; wipe with a soft sponge.
  • Avoid sudden temperature changes (thermal shock); do not use in a microwave oven.

Note: Due to the natural play of pastel glaze, shades and small details may vary slightly from piece to piece - this makes each gaiwan unique.
