Eilong glass pourer – 300 ml

A lightweight and elegant cha hai / fairness pitcher made of tempered borosilicate glass that helps to cool the water and ensure that every cup has the same taste of tea.

Why is it useful?

  • Uniform taste: by combining successive infusions, everyone gets tea with the same character.
  • Heat treatment: re-cooling water for finer teas (e.g. green, white) for more precise extraction.
  • Clean pouring: well-shaped spout for drip-free, controlled pouring.
  • Neutral material: glass does not absorb or transfer flavors, it is easy to clean.

Usage tips

  • Cooling down: first pour hot water into the pouring spout, then pour it over the tea – you will also “take off” 2–5 °C .
  • Fairness pitcher: collect all pours here and portion into cups from here for uniformity.
  • Precise work: the fine spout gives even beginners a confident, clean pour.

Material and treatment

  • Material: tempered borosilicate glass
  • Capacity: 300 ml (fully filled)
  • Cleaning: Hand washing with lukewarm water is recommended; use a soft sponge instead of rubbing.
  • Warning: do not place on an open flame and avoid sudden thermal shock (e.g. ice water into a hot pot).

Who do we recommend it to?

For all tea drinkers who like clean, reusable cups - especially when using gaiwan/hohin/kyusu . Ideal for group tea drinking and tastings.
