Taiwanese ceramic-iron jug "Chubby" - Eilong, 200 ml
A natural yet characterful piece: the iron-rich, mottled glaze evokes a "metallic" effect, while the surface develops a subtle patina over time – due to the effects of tea and humidity. Each can is unique, the subtle nuances of high-temperature firing make it unrepeatable.
Why will you love me?
- Uniqueness – due to the iron-stained, mottled glaze and high-temperature firing, no two pieces are the same.
- They mature over time – the surface deepens, becomes colored, and acquires a patina with use.
- Balanced taste – the ceramic body gives a warm, round sip, goes well with full-bodied teas.
- Compact design – chubby proportions, easy-to-grip lid and spout for clean pouring.
Recommended teas
- Older white teas – for soft, honey-amber lines.
- Roasted oolongs – Taiwanese and Wuyi rock oolongs, where a warm body is useful.
- Red (black) teas – the round texture nicely enhances the natural sweetness.
Use & care
- Preheat: rinse with hot water for stable heat.
- Cleaning: without detergent or dishwasher - rinse with warm water.
- Drying: After emptying, leave it to dry completely with the lid open.
- Avoiding heat shock: do not suddenly switch from cold to hot and vice versa.
Specification

- Dimensions: 110 × 130 mm.
- Material: clay ceramic body, iron-glaze outer glaze.
- Manufactured by: Eilong, Taiwan.

Personal contact
Our teas don't come from wholesale warehouses or unknown sources. We travel to the small producers we source from – whether it's a Japanese family tea garden, a Chinese mountain village or an oolong maker in Taiwan.
Stories
We meet them in person, learn their story, see how they care for their plants, and how they process the fresh leaves.
These experiences are the soul of our teas. This way, not only is the quality guaranteed, but also the fact that behind each cup there is a real person, a real story.

Direct
This direct relationship is valuable to us. Not only because of the excellent tea, but because we believe that trust, respect and personal presence are what make the tea drinking experience truly special.
