Long Jing (龙井茶 – Dragon Well) is the most famous Chinese green tea, produced in Zhejiang province, especially around Hangzhou. The tea is harvested in early spring from tender shoots and then hand-roasted in a pan, giving it its characteristic flat shape and roasted yet fresh aroma.
This batch comes from Mr. Lin's small family garden near Hangzhou, with whom we have had a direct relationship for several years. The 2025 harvest was particularly successful: the cool spring resulted in slow development, more intense aromas and extraordinary balance. The tea is one of the early-picked, which is noticeable in the finesse and purity.
During processing, the leaves are lightly roasted, preserving their freshness while also bringing out the buttery, nutty, floral notes – this is what makes Long Jing truly special.

Recommended preparation
Asian style (gaiwan or small glass cup)

Tip: use a clear glass container to enhance the experience – the leaves will “stand” nicely in the water.
