Introductory / introductory tea pack – 6 × 15 g

An exciting selection of different tea types that invite different moods and occasions: from silky white to “rocky” wuyi oolong, from Taiwanese floral oolong to raw (sheng) puer. The box also includes a short guide to help you feel at home in the world of tea from your first cup.

What do you find in the box?

  • Gong Mei 2024 – white tea, with a full, sun-ripened character.
  • Da Hong Pao – wuyi “rock” oolong, classic depth and minerality.
  • Fujian Yun Wu – “Cloud and Mist” green tea, with clean, cool green tones.
  • Silver Yun Mei – black (=red) tea, silky sweetness and fruity tones.
  • Everspring oolong – a light, floral everyday companion from Taiwan.
  • Fa Zhang He – Chinese sheng puer, with a living, developing arch.

How to make it?

Both methods work; we recommend the gongfu style because of the many pours and changing curves.

  • Gongfu (recommended): 5 g tea / 120–150 ml water. First infusion 20–30 seconds, then gradually increase. You can find the exact temperatures on the bags.
  • Western: approx. 3 g / 250 ml, 2–5 minutes depending on the tea (green: lower, oolong/red: higher temperature).

Tips for a good cup

  • Water: if possible, use soft or filtered water – cleaner, sweeter sips.
  • Preheating: rinse the device with hot water to maintain stable heat.
  • Experiment: if you like milder flavors, reduce the heat/time; if you like more character, increase it.
  • Sharing: the experience of drinking tea is best in company – pour it around, pay attention to the changing pours.

Specification

  • Packaging: 6 × 15 g (total 90 g).
  • Instructions: in the box with a short preparation description; temperature recommendations for each batch on the bags.
  • Equipment: a gaiwan or compact gongfu set makes tasting much easier.
