Zheng Shan Xiao Zhong 'wild' 2023

We call it wild tea because the leaves picked for tea do not come from a specific tea garden, but were picked from the tea hill, from abandoned plants, between the rows, or from a plant growing at the corner of a bamboo grove. The time of picking does not take place on the same day either, but the pickers have to go up to the tea hill several times to check the growth of the tea leaves.

The tea has a distinct natural citrus and creamy peach aroma. Fresh, sweet and refreshing. A very popular and rich tea, with a distinct aroma, can be drunk for a long time and has a lot of character. For a long time, the tea farmers kept this tea for themselves and drank it all year round among their families.

This 2023 wild Lapsang Souchong is our proud product, which is very outstanding.

A red tea with a fruity taste and a softer character, from the Wuyi mountain, which is part of the world heritage.
A tea picked in spring, which is closer to the more flowery types.
The smell is of cocoa beans, and the taste turns into exotic fruits. Really aromatic tea, can be drunk for a long time, excellent starter and refresher.

To prepare it, choose water with a low mineral content, below 250 mg/l. The water temperature should be around 90-95 degrees. For 5-6 g of tea leaves, use approx. 150-200 ml of water. Soaking times should be 1 minute.
