Taiwanese oolong teas

Also known as Formosa, Taiwan is a small island located in the northern part of the Tropic of Cancer, just off the eastern coast of Fujian Province. Taiwan is only 0,4% of mainland China. Given its proximity to Fujian province, Taiwan is famous for producing oolong tea: 90% of the tea produced there is this type of tea. The island produces many different styles of oolong tea, thanks to the microclimates of the different tea regions, which can result in huge variations on the tiny island.
Taiwan is also famous for its red teas, it is worth tasting them as well.
