This is a shu puer fermented in 2011 and pressed in 2014. It tastes spicy and sweet with notes of camphor. Woody aromas are low-key. It’s a rich tea for long tea sessions.

Mengku shu puer “chocolate”

One of the great hits of Mu Ye Chun brand, a subsidiary of Mengku tea factory, is pressing shu puers into the shape of a chocolate bar. Raw material comes from Mengku area, Lincang.

This tea had matured three years in Lincang, then it was pressed into chocolate form in 2014. Thus by 2018 this tea is 7 years old and it is pretty sweet and spicy with notes of camphor. Woody aromas are low-key.

It’s a rich tea for long tea sessions.

One square piece is 4 gr, for a 150 ml teapot you should use two pieces.
