Gongfucha travel set - Handmade from Hungary
We dreamed up this travel set together Ági Nagy-Györgywith and Marta Barbihrs.
As always, Ági made the fantastic ceramics for us, and this is our first joint project with Barbi, but not the last. 🙂
Barbi made the blanket that protects and carries the travel set, the textiles that protect the tools and the tea towel.
Our idea was to make such a compact little set that you can use to make delicious tea anywhere and anytime, and all this with the help of domestic creators!
The small bag is designed in such a way that 1-3 servings of tea can fit in the top, so you only need to take care of hot water for good tea.
The set consists of 1 gaiwan and 2 cups, which allows 2 people to drink tea. The size of the gaiwan is approx. 100-120 ml, in which tea made fits perfectly in the cups. Each device is unique, Ági made them and burned them for us. Ági graduated from MOME, majoring in Ceramic Design.
The textiles are made of completely natural materials and all of them were made by Barbi herself. Barbi graduated from the Hungarian University of Fine Arts, majoring in Textile Design, and her current job is to create costumes for various films.
If you wish, you can also choose to take it home a spout, or this in which you can collect several infusions and expand the tea party for up to 3-4 people.
Contents of the set:
1 carrier batyu, made of linen material
1 piece of long cloth, which separates the devices from each other, also made of linen material
1 tea towel, in a beautiful green color, which provide a nice base for the tea utensils.
