It is a spicier, more characterful shu puer variety and is also very fragrant. I often drink it in the morning when it's still dark and cool. It has sweet, camphorous and oily notes. It represents the spicy line rather than the woody notes. Worth a try for all shu puer fans.

Be sure to use soft water with a low mineral content for its preparation. Preferably spring water, but water filtered with a magnesium filter jug can also be used. Boil the water, then pour the tea after a quick wake-up call. With 10-20 second infusions, it can be drunk for a long time.
